What we do

One crew for the hard surfaces and the grounds around them, so the whole property is handled by people who already know the site.

Patios & Walkways
Flagstone, brick and paver patios, walkways and entries, set on a compacted base with proper pitch so they stay level through the freeze and thaw.
Stone Walls & Belgian Block
Retaining walls, seat walls, garden walls and Belgian block curbing, laid course by course with drainage built in behind the face.
Brick & Flagstone Masonry
Steps, veneer, piers, chimneys and repairs to existing stonework, matched to the material and joint profile already on the property.
Landscaping & Lawn Care
Planting beds, grading, seed and sod, mulch, mowing, aeration and seasonal cleanups on a schedule that suits the property.
Tree Work & Trimming
Removals, limbing and canopy trimming, with debris hauled off and the site left clean at the end of every day.
Excavation & Sidewalks
Site preparation, drainage correction, concrete sidewalks and driveway aprons for residential and commercial properties.
Snow Plowing
Seasonal plowing, shoveling and salting for driveways, parking areas and walkways through the Connecticut winter.

Rodrigo, owner of Rodrigo Masonry and Landscaping

Thirty years of stonework, led from the field

Rodrigo has spent three decades building patios, walls and walkways across Connecticut. He came up through the trade with a trowel in his hand, and he still leads every project himself: pricing the work, setting the crew and standing on the site while it is built.

That is what keeps the standard where it is. Base depth, drainage and joint work are checked by the person whose name is on the company, and the crew he has built around him works to the same measure. It is demanding work done properly, in every season Connecticut offers.

The company handles both sides of a property: the masonry that has to sit level for decades, and the grading, planting and seasonal care that keeps it looking finished. Homes, apartment buildings, retail properties and town streetscapes are all regular work.

Estimates are free, and there is no charge to have someone walk the property before you decide anything.

They rebuilt our front steps and walkway and the stonework matches the house perfectly. The crew showed up when they said they would and cleaned up every day.

Fair price, straight answers and no runaround. The retaining wall has been through two winters now with no movement at all.
